The Country Table is operated by J E Torr Pty Ltd T/as The Country Table (ABN 38 908 528 013), based in Tamworth, NSW, Australia. This policy explains information handling for our Squarespace website and planned online store.

Information you provide

Our Contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message so we can respond. Please do not include payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in a message.

When ordering is enabled, Squarespace Commerce will collect information needed to process and fulfil orders, such as your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, order details and any contact information requested at checkout. We use this information for order administration, delivery, customer support, returns and required business records. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to respond or fulfil an order.

Hosting, analytics and cookies

Squarespace hosts this website and processes information needed to operate and secure it. This can include IP address, browser, device and network information, referring pages and site activity. Squarespace’s built-in analytics helps us understand visits and site performance. Cookies and similar technologies support site functions such as the shopping cart and, depending on settings and choices, analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect site functions. Squarespace also handles some site-usage information for its own purposes under its Privacy Policy at www.squarespace.com/privacy.

Orders, payments and delivery

We share information needed to provide the service with Squarespace and, when orders are fulfilled, the delivery provider. No payment processor is currently connected. Before payments are enabled, this policy will be reviewed to identify the selected payment provider and its handling of payment information. We do not ask customers to send card details through our Contact form.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to handle a lawful dispute or request.

Newsletter choices

Checkout offers an optional marketing signup. Choosing it is separate from making a purchase. If you opt in to marketing, we use your supplied contact details for that purpose. You can unsubscribe using an email’s unsubscribe link or contact us. Order and service messages are separate from marketing consent.

Storage and overseas processing

Customer and enquiry information is handled through Squarespace and the business records needed to respond and fulfil orders. Squarespace may process information outside Australia; see its Privacy Policy for its international processing arrangements. We retain information as needed for these purposes and applicable record-keeping obligations, and take reasonable steps to protect it. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction and complaints

Use our Contact page to request access to or correction of your information, withdraw marketing consent, or raise a privacy concern. Identify the request and provide enough detail for us to locate the information. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within a reasonable time. We will investigate privacy complaints and explain our response. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au where applicable.
